Sanctuary Cove report, major new player in Australian Marine Industry
What a week! Boats in all their myriad extrusions and price tags, along with every conceivable marine and lifestyle accessory, event, media and organisation congregated at Sanctuary Cove for the 22nd annual boat show last week. AND for once, we can report that no exaggeration was necessary to inflate performance and reaction to the event.
It was a great year for all. While numbers were down, thanks to a taste of tropical (more like Antarctic) conditions on the Friday, business was bustling over the four days.
Sales, leads, enquiry and sea trials were all running hot during and now post-show. What more (other than blessed sunshine) could exhibitors wish for?
All the brands - big and small - share their SCIBS experiences and bumper sales results.
Also this week, stats and recent data from the US NMMA, outlined by Thom Dammrich, who was special guest at the marine industry breakfast last week to open Sanctuary Cove; news of upcoming boat show; some exciting news from Barry Jenkins who stepped down after 22 years in the role of GM at the Sanctuary Cove Intl Boat Show; the details of the marine industry's most innovative way to sell and buy boats, thanks to the entry of Ray White Surfers Paradise in a joint venture with the owners of Marina Oceanus.
As an advertiser or potential advertiser you need to look carefully at our story about online competitions.

After you've read this newsletter, spend five minutes and enter the competition and think what we could do for your company. Who knows at the same time you might win an Opti for the kids or grand kids and one for the Club!?
Have a great week! Enjoy some positive news and great business insight.
