Welcome back to our xtra.co.nz subscribers

Welcome too, to two new advertisers with Sail-World - Auckland International Boat Show and Weta Marine.

The Weta Nationals is also republished in this issue. We will have further stories on this trimaran, but in the meantime click on the banner at the bottom of the Nationals story and have a look at the great Weta website. There's also some links to some great video on the Weta site.

Hot on the closure of submissions on the new Aquaculture aka Sea Farming, it has been announced that 10 new licenses have been granted around the Banks Peninsular area for the creation of new sea farms including one grand daddy at almost 2,500 hectares. We have the story in this issue. Will it be the thin end of the wedge? The announcement also reveals who is behind these creations.
