From information on the Yellowbrick tracker on the RNZYS, indications are that one of the boats in the 2013 Auckland Fiji Race has withdrawn and is heading for Auckland. Emirates Team New Zealand completed a five hour sailing and testing session, apparently without mishap today in winds that gusted over 35kts. Winds averaged 26kts at Bean Rock at the entrance to the Waitemata Harbour. The winds peaked at midday before easing.
