For the last week, we have been racing in the Sail for Gold Regatta - the last World Cup event for us of the year, and pretty much the last big regatta we will do until the games. Peter Burling and Blair Tuke, NZ's 2012 Olympic 49er sailors, have achieved a second consecutive silver medal at the 49er World Championships. Overnight in Zadar, Croatia, two final series races were sailed and then the double point medal race for the top ten competitors in the gold fleet. The announcement follow the conclusion of the ISAF World Sailing Championships which were the Olympic Qualification for 75 percent of the places at the 2012 Olympics.
