Excellent sailing conditions greeted the 12 Finn sailors for the second round of the Craig Monk Summer Series, the Auckland Finn Champs held over the weekend 7-8th December.
While not the sea breeze that was hoped for the Norwest winds varying between 5 and 25 knots gave the fleet a solid workout at the venue for the 2015 Finn Gold Cup. ...[more]

The first day of racing in the ISAF Sailing World Cup, Melbourne looks set to get underway in very testing conditions.
First starts of the day are the Mens and Womens 470, along with the Mens Laser and Laser 4.7 classes. They are scheduled to get underway at noon.

The 2013 Laser Worlds have come to a close at Musannah Beach, Oman. Of the New Zealander’s 23 year old Andy Maloney from the (Murrays Bay Sailing Club) came through to place top kiwi at this Olympic class Championship ending the regatta in 11th and equal on points to the sailor in 10th. A 17th in the last race was enough to lift Maloney’s overall position after going into the day lying 14th. ...[more]

The wind gods played ball on the penultimate day of competition at the Calero Marinas RC44 World Championships. An 8-13 knots breeze graced the course throughout the day, allowing the race committee slot in four races. Consistency was key and the on form boats were Ironbound and Team Aqua, who sit on equal points at the top of the leaderboard going into the final day of racing. ...[more]
