Latest yacht from Bakewell-White for Japanese owner

Last week the latest yacht from the board of Bakewell-White Yacht Design emerged from the shed at Southern Ocean in Tauranga, New Zealand. She was commissioned by a Japanese owner.
Named 'Kagirohi' which is Japanese for ‘sky before the dawn’ the boat is destined to serve as an adventure training yacht around the waters of Japan. ...[more]

Bakewell-White Yacht Design boats have taken first and second place of Division 1 in New Zealand’s premier short-handed series, the 2012 B & G Simrad Series.
Wired, Rob Bassett and Brett Russell’s Bakewell-White 52 was dominant across the two-handed B & G Simrad Series clean sweeping line honours in all three races, also taking the top honours on PHRF in Races 1 and 2. ...[more]

The Bakewell-White 52'Wired' underlined her current dominance of the Auckland keelboat fleet with another crushing performance in the Balokovic Cup race, sailed in late February.

The recent pre-start for the Brisbane to Great Keppel Race saw the coming together of two extremes of size.

A new Bakewell-White 36, General Lee, has i8s due to be launched at Westhaven tomorrow.
Designed for offshore racing, and Cat 1, she is owned by two West Australian sailors, Paul Eldrid, who runs Evolution Sails in Perth, and Scott Disley. General Lee has spars and rigging from NZ Rigging. ...[more]

The World Match Racing Tour has announced the inaugural Korea Match Cup from 11-15 June this year in Jeongok, Hwasung City.
