Emirates Team NZ wrapped up their Friday training session with a series of windward leewards inside Rangitoto Light at the entrance to the Waitemata Harbour.
The session and crew-work, in particular, was very impressive and slick. There was not enough wind to make foiling viable at the bottom of the course, with the rounding mark again 200 metres off Narrowneck Beach. ...[more]

Emirates Team New Zealand have damaged their wingsail, in a launching incident, early this afternoon, NZT.
The incident occurred as the wingsail was being lifted into place prior to the AC72 platform being taken from the hangar and placed underneath the wing, before rigging is secured. ...[more]

After another training session on the Hauraki Gulf, Emirates Team NZ AC72, did a flypast in front of the Sail-World video camera, as she sailed down Auckland's North Shore beaches and turned around North Head to enter the Waitemata Harbour .
