Zenza NZ Women’s National Keelboat Championships 2009

The first day of the regatta, and a first for the women in the new Platu 25 fleet was held today on the Waitemata Harbour, Auckland.
The harbour was glassy as the fleet made their way to the race area, and racing was delayed until around 11am when the wind filled in and provided slightly more settled conditions for the Race Committee to set a course. ...[more]

The Japanaese National Yoith Championship, finished today in dramatic style on Lake Hamana Shizuoka Prefectural Mtsukabi, with Josh Porebski (NZL) winning on count back over Rachel Basevi with George Lane one point further back.

Frustration was the order of the first day of the 2009 New Zealand Women’s Match Racing Championships, sailed on the inner Waitemata Harbour off the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron.
