Emirates Team NZ mentor, Matteo de Nora has been recognised in the Queens Birthday Honours list just published in New Zealand.
He is recognised both for his support of the world's premier professional sailing team, as well as funding private neurological medical research involving experts from around the world, including New Zealand, into tinnitus.

America's Cup organisers have announced significant changes to the structure of the event and its preliminary, the America's Cup World Series.

The competitors in the 2013 America's Cup met by teleconference today. Sail-World is informed that the meeting broke up without any decisions being reached.
