Day 2 of the Monsoon Cup just wasn’t our day and in a disappointing display of sailing we finished the day with a scorecard of just 1 win and 3 losses. The name says it all, Monsoon Cup. Landing yesterday morning in Kuala Terengganu, the rain was evident. Land flooded and drains blocked meaning alot of current on the water. With over 24 hours of constant rain there was more than 4 knots of current running at the strongest point. ...[more]

A tight contest was sailed on Auckland Harbour, with Team Yamaha (Scott Kennedy) edging out JF Hillebrand (Phil Airey) by 1 point to win the 2009 18ft Skiff Auckland Champs.
