Crusader the new Elliott 35 SuperSport was launched at Salthouse Boatbuilders last week and sailed her maiden race in the first of the Gold Cup Series held in Auckland on the weekend. For the last week, we have been racing in the Sail for Gold Regatta - the last World Cup event for us of the year, and pretty much the last big regatta we will do until the games. Nicely for us, it went rather well....

Peter Burling and Blair Tuke, NZ's 2012 Olympic 49er sailors, have achieved a second consecutive silver medal at the 49er World Championships.
Overnight in Zadar, Croatia, two final series races were sailed and then the double point medal race for the top ten competitors in the gold fleet. Nathan Outteridge and Ian Jensen of Australia won this event for the fourth time. ...[more]

What a difference a drop makes! In a nail biting finish to the Harken Schools Fleet Racing Regatta, between the two St.Kentigern College and KeriKeri High Schools teams, the final results were a tie for first place and only 1 point difference between the top six crews.
