Bayliss 67' Overtime

We are less than two weeks out from the completion of Overtime, and the 67' build has already gotten a taste of tournament action. To put Overtime's fishability to the test, our crew participated in a small, charity-benefit tournament out of Oregon Inlet.

All components on the build performed exceptionally, and the team was able to document the first two billfish releases on Overtime. Fortunately, the two sailfish were enough to land the team the top spot in billfish releases.

Back at the docks, our builders are busy putting the finishing touches on the soon-to-be-christened sportfishing yacht. With a successful month of sea trials and fishing now in the books, we are looking forward to witnessing what lies ahead for the Overtime team and their new build!.

Bayliss 60' Sequentis

The walkaround segments of the build process are beginning to take shape on Sequentis. Last month, our exterior carpentry crew started fitting the walkaround supports in place, as well as the main chases. Now that the engine room is primed, our paint department has been busy sanding in preparation for top coat.

Sequentis is the 3rd boat Bayliss Boatworks has built for its owner, and the first walkaround for the company. With twin 2000 HP MTUs and 360-degree access to livewells, pitch bait tubes and rod holders, Sequentis is a life-support system for a South Florida live baiting team. Below deck she features a combined galley and salon, day head, and quarters for two.

Bayliss 64' Max Bet

With an eventful September involving her flip, Max Bet spent this past month hunkered down in the hull shop. While the boat remained stationary, our crews went into action installing the interior bulkheads and the bow thruster tube.

The machine tunnel and water tank buildout are both under way, and next our hull and paint crews will work together sanding and fairing the bow thruster fair water and lifting strakes.
