Dockmate®, manufacturer of advanced wireless remote-control systems for yachts, announced today a new, affordable wireless remote control product for conversion upgrades on older boats.

Dockmate RED M2E, along with a Glendinning Smart Actuator, will make "plug n' play" installations simple on boats with older styles of engine controls. This new product offers boat owners with mechanical and hynautic controls the ability to install and benefit from a Dockmate wireless remote control system, for a significantly lower price than other options previously available on the boating market.

"The Dockmate RED M2E opens the door for all vessels with mechanical controls to have a wireless remote control at a minimal cost," said Marc Curreri, CEO, Dockmate. "We are thankful for the long-term partnership with Glendinning which led to the development of this product. This is a great opportunity for owners to upgrade their boats to a wireless remote control system so they can leave the helm, where visibility is often poor, and safely dock singlehandedly or recover their anchor or mooring ball from anywhere aboard."

"Dockmate has continued to develop products which are superbly engineered and compatible with Glendinning's industry-leading product line, and the RED M2E coupled with our Smart Actuator is another excellent addition," said John Glendinning, Vice President, Glendinning.
