The AWBF INC is proud to present another partner onboard for the 2023 event, The Australian National Maritime Museum. The organisation has been supporting the Australian Wooden Boat Festival for several years now and is integral to the success of the event.

The Australian National Maritime Museum will be supporting two programs during the Hobart event, the Australian National Maritime Museum Wooden Boat Symposium and the Australian National Maritime Museum Boat Builders of Australia display.

Both program activities highlight and showcase maritime history, restoration and boat designs. The support from Australian National Maritime Museum makes it possible to continue to bring a wide variety of profoundly influential designers, authors, sailors and speakers to Hobart.

AWBF General Manger, Paul Stephanus stated "It is important to keep the AWBF and the activities and programs within free to the public, and support from the Australian National Maritime Museum allow us to do this."

The Director and CEO of the Australian National Maritime Museum Daryl Karp AM said, "The Australian National Maritime Museum is delighted to continue our support of the Australian Wooden Boat Festival. It is such an important gathering of passionate people who keep Australian wooden boat traditions and heritage alive. We look forward to seeing many people throughout the Festival."
