Everglades® Boats new 285cc makes its debut

by Everglades Boats 11 Sep 2022 02:21 AEST

Everglades Boats launched its newest model, the 285cc in August 2022 and the mid-size center console has already caught the eye of various boaters.

Built with Everglades unsinkable RAMCAP hull, the 285cc redefines the sportfish category by providing the smoothest ride in the industry while furnishing guests with sophisticated materials and intuitive technology to chase life's obsessions.

"Our Rapid Molded Core Assembly Process, or RAMCAP, is truly what sets our boats apart from the rest. One sea trial and the difference is clear. Our new 285cc handles like no other center console in this size offering," Matt Vranich, Everglades Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing, said.

The Everglades 285cc measures 30'1" overall with twin Yamaha 300-hp engines and a 9'6" beam. The 200-gallon fuel capacity offers a range of 312 statute miles while cruising at 30.1 mph, leaving 5% of the boat's fuel capacity in reserve. The optional Yamaha® Helm Master EX system puts the power of 600 horses and accurate steering between your thumb and finger, allowing you to venture far offshore with ease and comfort.

"We are excited to introduce the all new 285cc as the latest addition to the Everglades portfolio. The 285cc offers an exciting combination of innovative features, performance, fishability and comfort. Whether you plan to make long open ocean runs or host social gatherings at the sandbar, the 285cc will exceed your expectations," Chris Walker, Everglades Director of Product Design & Naval Architecture, said.

True to Everglades tradition, various fishing features and amenities come standard on the 285cc, including the exclusive rotating helm / mezzanine seat that Everglades first introduced on its 235cc. A spacious bow with plush upholstered lounges and recessed in deck storage that quickly converts into an immense casting deck or spacious sun pad also comes standard.

Everglades has continued to offer the latest technology with advanced Garmin® digital switching at the helm. An optional SeaKeeper® 1 can be added for additional stability, increasing fishing performance and providing a noticeably more comfortable day for all onboard.

The Everglades 285cc is making its boat show debut at the Atlantic City In-Water Boat show and will have a presence at the Newport, and Annapolis boat shows before making its official show debut at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
