Following the completion of the first Pearl 72, she completed her sea trials and headed straight to Florida. Now, Pearl's newest model is ready for her worldwide debut at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. With two master cabins, four en-suite guest cabins, and a crew cabin, plus a garage large enough for tender and a jet ski, the Pearl 72 is anticipating a gracious reception.

The hotly anticipated Pearl 72 is finally approaching her official debut at Florida's famous Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, held from October 26th to October 30th. Fresh from her completed sea trials, she is already cruising around the sunshine state, getting acquainted with the beautiful coastal waters. The American market is increasingly important for the British brand as its dealer network expands to meet growing demand, with the recent addition of Jeff Brown Yachts joining Atlantic Yacht & Ship as Pearl's US dealers. The latest edition of Bill Dixon's coordinated exterior design and naval architecture is well-matched by the celebrated new interior design theme "Indulgence" by Kelly Hoppen CBE.

In terms of layout, the Pearl 72 makes a unique introduction to the size-class: two Master Cabins. One is forward with a private entrance, as typically seen on much larger yachts, and the second is full beam amidships. In addition to providing an ideal solution for co-owners who enjoy the yacht together, the innovative layout allows owners to enjoy a beautiful view even when moored stern-to in a marina. There are two further en-suite double cabins plus accommodation for the crew, in addition to an exceptional garage with space for a William 345 tender (or similar) and a jet ski.

Modern Exterior Design

About the 22-metre Pearl 72 with a 5.7-metre beam, Exterior Designer Bill Dixon said, "Every element of the 72's design follows from the core identity that she is a Pearl. But with this new yacht, we have evolved to a higher level. The hull glass has been expanded for a more modern look, combined with the sporty stance which she inherited from the recent Pearl 62 - a marker of the new generation. The lines are as elegant as ever, now a bit sleeker and more streamlined, and the use of spheric glass gives her curves in all the right places. As for the layout, we were as shrewd as ever to use the available space to our maximum advantage."

Reinventing the Pearl Look with each New Model

Kelly Hoppen Interiors has continued to refine the design of Pearl Yachts, taking the world-famous look one step further with the introduction of a new interior theme - "Indulgence". The design intent of this yacht was to capture New York City urban living on water while enhancing and working with the incredible mechanical features that have been achieved. An array of materials including high gloss veneers, satin stones and contrasting metal detailing has been used and layered throughout to set up enchanting reflections and luxurious tones that fuse the ocean and interiors together.

Pearl's Managing Director Iain Smallridge said, "After two years of development seeing drawings, renderings, and virtual models, it will be a momentous occasion to finally see the beautiful, finished article. And the chance to share her at such an event where we can show our friends how, once again, Pearl has made all of our promises come true. She simply offers so much more than competing yachts of the same size, every tour with journalists, clients and colleagues will see us beaming with pride, and for that reason, we are especially excited to be heading down to Florida and see everyone this year."
