The Cannes Yachting Festival will be held from Tuesday 6 to Sunday 11 September in Cannes, France. As it is the first autumn boat show, it is the place where professionals and enthusiasts of the marine industry from all over the world will meet for six days.

In the continuity of the actions carried out for the promotion and the support of the marine industry sector of the "New Aquitaine Region" (region in the West of France near the Atlantic coast), the Atlantic Cluster will be present for the first time this year at the Yachting Festival of Cannes with a stand following the example of the one set up during the Nautic boat show in Paris.

This stand will be located in Port Canto and will allow five companies of the territory to present their know-how and their latest innovations: Aegir Cork/Seacork, Akira Technologies, Madintec, Recyclamer/Geneseas, Z Spars/Marechal Mats.

According to the observatory of marine activities carried out by the New Aquitaine Region in July 2022, the marine industry sector in New Aquitaine includes 1,500 companies, including marinas and anchorages, engineering, construction, equipment, maintenance & repair, rental and service companies. It represents 20% of the national turnover, being in 2nd position behind the PACA region (in South of France) and generates 8050 jobs, i.e., 16% of the national workforce.
