Gamakatsu's barbless Big River Bait now available in 7/0

by Gamakatsu 1 Jul 2022 21:00 EST

The innovative Big River Bait Hook design has overtaken bait fisheries from coast to coast. Now, Gamakatsu® is giving anglers additional options with the new size 7/0 hook.

"The Big River Bait Hook is one of Gamakatsu's most popular hook designs, especially with steelhead and salmon anglers, so we decided to add a new variation in size," said Gamakatsu® Sales Manager Jeff Roberts. "The barbless version makes it easy for anglers to adhere to rules and regulations where they apply without the hassle of having to pinch down the barbs on these forged shank hooks."

Gamakatsu's Big River Barbless Hooks comply with barbless regulations and catch-and-release fishing situations. Rather than a barb, these hooks feature a specially designed bend for firm hooksets. The large gap and sharp offset point facilitate instant penetration and holding power. The unique throat angle means the fish hooked stay pinned. Anglers will appreciate this design when they have a big catch on the other end of the rod.

A forged, premium, carbon steel construction makes Gamakatsu Big River Barbless Hooks durable enough for frequent, heavy-duty use. This hook is available in all popular sizes.

Barbless Big River Bait Hook Features:

  • Color: NS Black
  • Size: 2/0, 3/0, 4/0, 5/0, 6/0, 7/0
  • Qty/Pack: 6, 25
