Sanlorenzo, the world's leading monobrand shipyard for the production of yachts and superyachts, takes the stage from 28 October to 1 November at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2020.

With iconic, timeless boats featuring interiors customized to respond to the requests of American yachtsmen, Sanlorenzo narrates to the US market its constantly evolving creative, versatile approach to nautical design, where innovation goes hand in hand with personalization to offer novel solutions, in ongoing pursuit of the highest possible quality of life on board.

The new SD96 debuts in the USA, the 28-meter entry level model of the historic SD line of semi-displacement yachts by Sanlorenzo, inspired by the design of ocean liners from the 1930s, and replicating their precise concept of elegance. The world of shuttle-style yachts is fascinating, romantic and complex, because it is connected with the idea of a yachtsman who chooses to spend long periods of time on the sea, traveling in a relaxed way, without time limits. This is why the SD96 offers more spaces and opportunities than boats of comparable size but different typology. Like all the models of the line, SD96 is organized with three decks, but thanks to its carefully honed proportions and exceptional balance between design and volume, it is particularly elegant and light, precisely like a yacht with two decks.

Among the yachts on display, the SX76 and SX88 stand out: two models of the new SX crossover line, the first of its kind in the world, launched in 2017 by Sanlorenzo thanks to the intuition of Cav. Massimo Perotti, Executive Chairman of the company, who thanks to his courage and unconventional vision has brought a new yacht typology to the market.

"The SX crossover line is the response to the epochal crisis in the world of yachting from 2009 to 2014. As always in the history of humankind, moments of crisis generate new ideas: while prior to 2008 many yachtsmen bought boats simply to demonstrate their success and power, as ways to show off rather than to enjoy the time spent at sea, we understood that after the crisis only the true lovers of yachting would remain, so we began to think about what they would desire. The concept of the SX line was thus developed, which privileges the use of the yacht on open sea: the innovative steering position on the flybridge, which can be entirely closed and air-conditioned, leaves a free main deck to create a true loft facing the sea, or alternatively a more intimate owner's suite, with a large beach area astern, which can also accomodate large watercrafts for your sea exploration". - Massimo Perotti

Sanlorenzo America, the historic embassy of the brand in the USA, reflecting corporate values like craftsmanship, sartorial skill, attention to detail and the maximum quality of Made in Italy, responds to the requirements of the local market with talent, timing and expertise, interpreting every project in tune with American culture and lifestyle thanks to a direct presence that guarantees in-depth knowledge of the local context.

From the technical aspects to the layout of the interiors, the Sanlorenzo America team is ready to perfectly grasp the designers and requirements of yachtsmen, accompanying every client through all the phases, from the initial concept to the completion of a perfectly finished and personalized project, capable of embodying the great dedication to the art of shipbuilding and the pursuit of new creative horizons intrinsic to every Sanlorenzo creation.

Selected to represent the range of Sanlorenzo planing yachts, the SL86, with a length of 27 meters, channels decades of experience, combining signature styling with new innovations and an unparalleled level of customization within its category. The bulwarks is cut to let the larger side windows catch as much light as possible and let the guests enjoy the sea view even sitting on the sofa of the salon, wider and lighter, without affecting the typical Sanlorenzo sober line, rather releasing a new freshness.

If every model is the portrait of a particular type of yachtsman, reflecting the diversity of approaches to life on the sea, the yachts on view have also been revised in all aspects to reflect the necessities of American clients, in tune with the sartorial approach of Sanlorenzo, in which every project is unique thanks to in-depth research on materials, technologies and details, where nothing is left to chance.
