VesselVanguard, the leading maintenance management solution for boat owners and manufacturers, have announced an agreement with Hylas Yachts to provide every new owner with a multi-year subscription to its award-winning maintenance management solution.

All Hylas sailing and motor yachts now include three-years of VesselVanguard service, providing owners notifications of, and at-a-glance status for, required maintenance, as well as establishing a protocol for Hylas' technical department to remotely monitor yacht maintenance tasks and offer technical assistance, if necessary. All maintenance history is logged for future reference and accessible for potential buyers when the boat goes on the second-hand market, keeping the resale value high.

"Our boats are known for their quality and seaworthiness but like all boats of this nature the systems are complex requiring an equal attention to detail in their maintenance," said Andy Huang, principal, Hylas Yachts. "In our opinion VesselVanguard stands alone as the only user-friendly solution that provides necessary detail and unparalleled simplicity. Our customers are serious boaters traveling all around the world. It's comforting to know that when they are in the middle of a passage and need to access manuals or view maintenance data the information is always available on the VesselVanguard app, right in the palm of their hand. We are also impressed with the other features and functions that simplify the customer experience."

"Hylas' boats are all built in a bespoke tradition integrating each owner's taste and style with the best engineering and marine construction techniques available today," said Don Hyde, founder and CEO, VesselVanguard. "We both approach our customers from the same perspective with the goal of ensuring the very best time on the water possible, and we look forward to simplifying the boat ownership experience for Hylas customers around the world."

Based in Taiwan, Hylas has been producing luxury sailboats and yachts for over forty-five years. To date, they have designed and built over 520 luxury vessels from 40- to70-feet in length, all designed by iconic naval architects including Sparkman & Stephens, German Frers, Bill Dixon and Dean Salthouse, to name a few. Their legacy is bespoke yachts employing the newest technical innovations alongside the most modern design concepts now brought to reality by the third generation of the Huang Family in Taiwan.

Dedicated to providing significant changes in the post-sale relationship for boat builders and customers alike, VesselVanguard removes the complexity of owning and maintaining a vessel. The solution meets the information needs of today's busy lifestyle by giving boat owners a secure and comprehensive boat profile accessible from the cloud, anywhere, at any time, by browser, tablet or smartphone. The profile contains all manuals in searchable form with current updates, warranty data, registration and insurance documentation organized to the preferences of the owner.
