"We want the Newport International Boat Show to be a completely immersive experience for showgoers," said Nancy Piffard, show director at Newport Exhibition Group. "This year, visitors will have the opportunity to attend free seminars created For Boaters, By Boaters™ presented by America's Boating Club as well as register for At The Helm training courses with a licensed captain. It's a great line-up of educational instruction for everyone."

Confident Captain's At The Helm courses include: Become a Power-Boater, Powerboat Docking and Maneuvering, Advanced Outboard Handling, Just Go Sailing!, and Advanced Sailboat Handling and Trim (Including Spinnaker Sailing).

America's Boating Club will be offering free seminars on How to Read the Weather, About AIS (Automatic Identification Systems), How to Use a Modern VHF/DSC Marine Radio, Using Radar and Anchoring Techniques.

The Newport International Boat Show will take place September 13-16, 2018 on the Newport Waterfront along America's Cup Avenue in Newport, Rhode Island.
