iSail Whitsundays Contender Worlds at McCrae Yacht Club - Day 4

by VR Sport Media 24 Jan 2018 13:38 GMT 21-25 January 2018

What a fight for the Contender Worlds at McCrae Yacht Club. Mark Bulka dominated the penultimate day with two back-to-back wins, but Jason Beebe won't let go of his title just yet. He kept chasing until the last second in both races with two 2nd places - anyone else would be ecstatic but this widens the points difference to four points.

The story of the day for most sailors was the multiple recalls and black flags for many of the competitors due to adrenaline and tide. Lots had to sit on the side lines and watch the fleet blast by hoping this was going to be their discard.

Never ending 'champagne sailing' weather for tomorrow - two early races planned for the Final Day when the 2018 World Champion will be crowned - Mark or Jason... Keep up to date with all of the action via Race Tracker Live.
