In Leg 4 of the Volvo Ocean Race, Team Brunel finished in fifth place. The team of Dutch skipper Bouwe Bekking arrived in Hong Kong on Saturday after 18 days, 45 minutes and 56 seconds.

Skipper Bouwe Bekking: "It is not the result we had hoped for. We have a lack of pure boat speed at certain angles. We will have to do our homework again over the next few days to find the cause. It's frustrating, but we have to deal with it."

"Considering the (four) forced crew changes for this stage, the crew did an excellent job.

Historic win for Scallywag

The win in Hong Kong went to Sun Hung Kai / Scallywag, the local favourite. Dongfeng Race Team and Team AkzoNobel finished in second and third on the podium.

Vestas 11th Hour Racing had to withdraw due to an incident with a fishing vessel that occurred approximately 30 miles from the finish of Leg 4, outside of Hong Kong waters. The incident has resulted in a fatality of a crew member of the fishing vessel.
