After the international launch and christening of AMEL 50 at the Cannes Yachting Festival, the yacht continues its European tour at the key event Boot Düsseldorf. AMEL will be taking advantage of this exhibition from January 20th to 28th 2018 to exhibit its new yacht out of the water for the first time.

Boot Düsseldorf: The largest boat show in Europe

Boot is the largest boat show in Europe, each year welcoming 1,800 exhibitors from the industry, 60 different nationalities and close to 230,000 visitors. This 49th edition is once again shaping up to be very promising, the opportunity for AMEL to put the spotlight on its new 50 foot yacht and to demonstrate the multitude of qualities that define her to an international public. AMEL owners will also be given a reserved area at the AMEL Club.

Welcome from the AMEL team in Hall 16, stand n degrees B58.

An AMEL 50 will be on the stand, giving everyone a chance to discover the elegant lines of this yacht. With her mahogany (sapelli) interior blended with light-coloured fabrics, each visitor will be cocooned in a warm, cosy atmosphere where comfort and ingenuity prevail, as always with AMEL.

European Yacht of the Year 2018

This year, like every year, one of the main features of the opening night of the Boot, the announcement of the "European Yacht of the Year" trophy will be awarded by the German magazine Yacht. Judged by an international jury, a number of contestants are nominated in five categories: Family-Cruiser, Performance-Cruiser, Multihulls, Special Yachts and Luxury Cruiser. The idea is to reward team effort and exceptional products. Amel has risen to this challenge with the AMEL 50, nominated in the Luxury Cruiser category. The results will be revealed on January 20th 2018 and all the award-winning yachts will be viewable at the exhibition.

Bringing together continuity and development: AMEL 50

With 15 units already sold, AMEL 50 is naturally at home as part of the AMEL brand, confirming the undeniable quality and expertise of the shipyard.

AMEL 50 is a versatile 15-metre sloop, perfect for weekend excursions along the coast or long-distance round-the-world trips. Navigation safety, a fundamental value at AMEL, is always ensured and on-board comfort offers owners the chance to really let go and relax. The La Rochelle shipyard's desire for change is perfectly illustrated through this yacht and her dynamic lines.

Among the special features of the new model in the range are her straight nose, stainless steel bow nose and two-rudder blade, making this yacht's performances quite exceptional and easy to manœuvre while sailing. Besides current owners, this unit could easily seduce a new clientele, with her more accessible dimensions and price.
