International Moth Worlds Day 2 - Australian Andrew McDougall leads

Puma International Moth World Championship day two.

With four races sailed, Australian Andrew 'Amac' McDougall still holds the lead after a first, eleventh and second place today.

Entered in the Masters class, McDougall is nine series points clear of Michael Lennon from Great Britain. Brad Funk (USA) is one point further back in third, Scott Babbage (AUS) is fourth while current UAE Champion Chris Graham is fifth. Defending champion Bora Gulari (USA) is sixth, sixteen points behind the leader. Kerstin Sommer (UAE) is the highest placed female in position 26.

Racing got off to a late start as a foggy haze and light winds meant a 30 minute postponement onshore. It was really a pressure game today - those who stayed in the pressure were able to get up on their foils and make gains. The fleet had three races today, bringing the total for the event up to four. Races two and three saw light winds and tough foiling conditions. The breeze filled in a bit for race four, allowing the fleet to really get up and moving.
