Quintin Fowler started sailing at nineteen when he 'decided that it was a more sociable sport than hang gliding because my mates could come too!'

Burred Vision is his second Bavaria yacht and her launching party on Saturday 3rd Feb was well attended by friends, family and of course the crew who were keen to see their new racing machine enter the water

She is the second Bavaria 44 Vision to be launched in New Zealand.

Quintin bought his first Bavaria in 2001 and called her Bavarian Wave. He successfully raced her over the coming years and placed a number of wins under his belt, notably PHRF winner and 1st Overall Div A in the 2003 RAYC Auckland to Fiji Race.

He has become a noted competitor on the Auckland yacht racing scene, proving how competitive a stock production boat, properly sailed and well crewed, can be. His winning profile has proved to be of great benefit for the Bavaria Yachts brand.
