The East Coast low moving along the NSW Coast put paid to Gary Linacre's patience yesterday. The skiffs were rigged for a scheduled 1600 hrs. start and were held ashore under the AP flag flying on the Double Bay SC mast. With Gary Linacre and his staff out on course monitoring the wind pressure, hoping for a sign of the expected easing in strength, he finally had no other choice and decided to postpone the race around 1700 hrs.
