A strong breeze is forecast for the final race of the 64th JJ Giltinan 18ft Skiff Championship being sailed on Sydney Harbour, at 3.00pm. PredictWind is showing a breeze at increasing through the day to an 18kts average at the race start time of 3.00pm - less than yesterday and which should be sailable. The winds are also predicted be in the NNE and steady throughout the day. This prognosis has been based on a reference point in the centre of Sydney Harbour, and will obviously vary on the edges of the course

Viewing the JJ Giltinan 18 Ft Skiffs: Spectator ferries will follow each of the seven races in the championship, leaving Double Bay Wharf 30 minutes before the start of each race. Races 1 and 6 (Saturdays 16 and 23 February) start at 4pm while all other races start at 3pm. Races 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7 will be sailed on 17, 19, 20, 21 and 24 February.
