Entries are filling fast for the 2013 Pittwater Multihull Rendezvous from 1-3 March, but spots are still available to join this superb weekend of sailing and social action. Hosted and organised by Multihull Solutions, the Rendezvous is set against the spectacular backdrop of Pittwater. The weekend comprises a wonderfully relaxed itinerary of sailing for multihull owners and enthusiasts who can exchange cruising stories and sailing tips, inspect the range of participating catamarans and meet new friends. Anyone with a multihull is invited to participate, and the event celebrates the diversity of multihull brands and models available on the international and domestic market. The Rendezvous is not a racing event and the emphasis is on having fun, so there are frequent stops for social functions and downtime for relaxation with friends or in the tranquillity of participants’ own catamaran. Prizes are awarded for participants who best embrace the spirit of the Rendezvous. Once again, the Pittwater Rendezvous will be run from the Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club (RPAYC) in Newport. Multihull Solutions managing director Mark Elkington said the Rendezvous is the perfect chance for people to share tips and view other multihulls in a relaxed and fun environment. 'Our Multihull Rendezvous’ always attract a great group of like-minded multihull enthusiasts who enjoy learning skills, making new friends, and having a fantastic time,' Mark said. 'No matter what size or model of multihull they own, we encourage everyone to get involved and join this year’s event,' he said.
