Today Dave Giles and I finished Holland Regatta in second place. There were Stars from 11 countries, in a small but quality fleet. This is the best result of our campaign to date. Sailing out of Medemblik, Holland in the cold and rain within an Olympic sized fleet. The regatta was won by the French bronze medalist’s team and the 2003 & 2005 Star World Champions, Xavier Rohart and Pascal Rambeau by three points. ...

Jo Aleh is the best performed of the New Zealand sailors after Day 3 of the Holland Regatta, formerly known as Spa, sailed out of Medemblik, Holland. In the Laser radial class Aleh is holding second place overall, in spite of some indifferent placings during the day. Hamish Pepper and David Chiles continue theire dream run in the Star class and are currently lying third overall after four races. ...
