A major milestone was reached on Thursday afternoon after the launch in Valencia of the brand new STIG72, for Alessandro Rombelli.
The Italian owner, passionate sailors and recent winner of the Audi Melges 20 Gold Cup Championship, is now ready to take a big step forward and compete in the Mini-Maxi class, starting with the Copa del Rey in a mere ten days.
After just seven months since construction started in Finland at Baltic Yachts, the new Judel/Vrolijk-designed 72 footer was launched in Valencia on Thursday afternoon.
