After two days of racing in the Radial class, Brenda Bowskill (RCYC) has moved to the top of the pack with eight points after six races completed at the 2012 Canadian Championships. In the Standard Rig, Lee Parkhill (RCYC) leads with 10 points after seven races.
The winds on the first day of racing (Friday) were fairly steady, though they became very shifty and variable in the afternoon. PRO Irene McNeill kept the fleet ashore on Saturday morning, until the winds built to five knots and then took the fleet farther out into Lake Ontario for steadier, stronger wind.
