The Canadian Yachting Association has two positions one for a Coach Manager and one for a Development Team Coach/Manager in Various locations, Ontario beginning Sunday, 30th September.
Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working evenings and weekends. Some overtime will be available.
Salary: will be $70,000.00 per year for a 40 hour week.
Also: group insurance, life insurance, RRSP benefits.
Education: The applicant should have completed college or technical training.
Experience: at least five years’ experience.
Credentials required: The applicant should have Level 3 Certificate in Coaching.
Sports Concentration: Yachting
Work Setting: National sports association
Specific Skills: Plan, develop and implement training and practice sessions, Develop, plan and co-ordinate competitive schedules and programs, Motivate and prepare athletes or teams for competitive events or games, Participate in coaching clinic instruction, Analyze and evaluate athletes’ or team’s performance, Observe and evaluate prospective athletes’ skills and performance, Present materials at conference or symposium
Additional Skills: Carry out management or administrative duties
Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Child abuse registry check, Medical exam
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilites: 20/20 vision, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Sound discrimination, Standing for extended periods
Work Site Environment: Outdoors
Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver’s licence, Own vehicle, Willing to travel internationally, Travel expenses paid by employer
Work Location Information: Various locations, Willing to relocate
Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory, Finding information, Computer use, Continuous learning
