AIMEX explores new markets at Asia Pacific Maritime Exhibition
|
The Australian Marine Export Group (AIMEX) continues to look at new markets for its members organising the Australia Pavilion at the Asia Pacific Maritime Exhibition in Singapore, 14-16 March. During the current economic climate CEO MaryAnne Edwards said; 'it is essential for marine businesses to look outside their traditional markets and establish new segments for their product range. Many members have the ability to supply into the commercial and defence sector and we wish to help facilitate this.' Asia Pacific Maritime (APM) is the one-stop market for the Asia Pacific region’s maritime community, showcasing the latest in marine engineering and port technology. Regarded by the industry as the region’s premier maritime event, APM will be featuring shipbuilding and marine, workboat and offshore segments. APM combines a comprehensive exhibition, high-powered conferences and seminars, and a host of networking sessions that connect quality Asia Pacific buyers to international maritime suppliers. There will be key buyers at the show sourcing products to put their companies at the forefront of the maritime business, the Australian marine industry has a global reputation for their innovation, skills and experience and it is expected the companies exhibiting at this show will get good results. Celebrating its 12th edition in 2012, APM is one of Asia's most established and proven maritime exhibitions and is strongly supported by the international maritime community. It is expected there will be over 900 leading international maritime exhibitors across 50 countries converging with over 9,000 Asian visitors. Amongst the Australian companies exhibiting will be Austral Propellers, Stebercraft International, Poly Flex Group, Hydrive Engineering, Coursemaster Autopilots, and Spear Green Design.
