YACHTstyle, Asia's premier boating magazine, has a new hand on the helm. Edipresse, who launched YACHTstyle in 2007, has decided to sell the magazine and it will no longer be part of the Tatler Group. Managing Editor Suzy Rayment has taken over the role of Publisher of the publication. Suzy was there at YACHTstyle’s inception, and will continue to deliver the latest innovations in the yachting industry both regionally and internationally.

Suzy Rayment says, 'I am looking forward to continuing the development of YACHTstyle, with the support of the boating community. The magazine enjoys a loyal readership, and our goal is to continue producing unrivalled coverage of both ‘Power and Sail’, and meet the needs of a new style of boat owner in Asia. Changes are coming quickly to the boating industry in Asia and China, and it is very satisfying to be the leading high-end boating publication for the region. And YACHTstyle will continue to deliver innovative design – that’s what makes it stand out from the crowd.'

YACHTstyle will continue to focus on the individuals who make a difference to the world of boating, and bring readers the latest information on yachts which are in Asia and available on the market. Its mission statement is to be ‘the Best Boating Magazine in Asia’, and this is achieved by drawing on the world's best yachting journalists and marine photographers. The format of the magazine will remain the same, but each of the four sections (Logbook, Features, Onboard and Style) will be expanded to bring readers the ‘best of the best’. Superyachts, extreme machines and classic craft are all part of this bigger picture. On the practical side of boating, every issue will include sea trials, as well as the cool Boys' Toys that are ‘must haves’ for every sailor, along with a Style section that looks at exotic destinations, boat design, and luxury nautical accessories.

From superyachts cruising the Asian archipelagos to flat-out racers competing in one of Asia’s increasingly popular and competitive regattas, YACHTstyle will - as ever - bring real boating style to Asian readers.

YACHTstyle will continue to be distributed to a select direct mailing list that includes VIP Hong Kong readers and boating enthusiasts, and it will also be available at distinguished yacht clubs, key commercial outlets and leading bookshops and newsstands in Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia. The magazine will continue as a quarterly and the first issue under the new management will be published in June 2012.
