The Tullett Prebon London Boat Show 2012 was held from 6th to 15th January at Excel London. On Saturday, 14th January, the RYA unveiled a great new title to add to its already extensive range of RYA Publications; the RYA Boat Safety Handbook.
The RYA Publications team were joined by the books author Keith Colwell to celebrate the new title being launched, with the very first copies being available on the RYA stand.
The book covers all the key elements in boat safety from lifejackets and buoyancy aids, MOB prevention and recovery to calling for help and dealing with fire. This book is a must read for all sailors, from complete beginner to seasoned professional who are concerned with the safety of themselves and others.
Keith Colwell author of the new title commented: 'Safety afloat is always prominent in the thoughts of any conscientious boat owner. The book provides essential information to ensure that your boat has the necessary safety equipment, so that anyone heading out on the water can have absolute peace of mind.'
