Entries still open for the Milang Goolwa Freshwater Classic

Organisers of The Marina Hindmarsh Island Freshwater Classic are pleased to announce that entries are still open for this classic yacht race, a must do event for many sailors, and the first Milang to Goolwa to be staged in five years due to low river levels.
Whilst the closing date for entries passed on Friday the sixth of January, Race Director Brendan Murray says late entries are still being accepted. 'Fortunately we have great support from our sponsors and that has enabled us to subsidise the late entry fee to just $15', he said.
Boats can enter online right up until 5pm on Friday the 20th of January.
'We have a simple and quick method of registering online via our website' said Brendan.
The total cost for boats entering in Divisions 1 to 6 is $75 ($60 entry + $15) and for Off The Beach boats entering in Divisions 7 to 9 the total cost is $55 ($20 + $15 registration plus $20 nomination fee on race day).
The Marina Hindmarsh Island Freshwater Classic caps off a week of on and off water events as part of the inaugural Goolwa Regatta Week and spectators and supporters alike are invited to the Goolwa Regatta Yacht Club to join in the post-race party.
