The race started in fairly benign conditions, with the top mark 1.7NM from the start line.
PHD saw Cloud Nine first from under Capricorn and Apache.
In AMS race one, it was an Adams 10 trifecta with Apache from Executive Decision and Top Gun.
IRC race one saw exactly the same standings.

Race two encountered increasingly fickle conditions with a looming southerly buster. It also saw Apache first followed by Reckless and Executive Decision.
In AMS Godzilla crashed the party with a third from Executive Decision and Apache.
IRC race two once again saw Apache, Executive Decision and a new name on the board with Penfold Audi third.
In race three, only nine boats completed the course due to the inclement weather conditions. Toecutter took PHD from Alien and Penfold Audi. The fleet was slightly decimated by a southerly buster, which peaked at over 30 knots, many casualties ensued, with Duckmobile and Swordfish Trombone amongst the retirements.
