Emirates Palace Hotel is developing its recently opened Marina into an up-market hotspot, which will be laced with dining outlets, shops and a new ballroom.

Abu Dhabi’s iconic hotel’s new general manager Bugra Berberoglu, said the developments are on track to be completed by year-end.

Emirates Palace Marina, managed by Art Marine, is the first of its kind in the country and the Gulf region in terms of luxury, and as a custom destination for luxurious yachts inside and outside the United Arab Emirates. Emirates Palace Marina accommodates 167 yachts that are within Emirates Palace’s new extensions and provides more services to guests and clients.

The Marina is capable of obtaining yachts with lengths ranging from 12 to 90 meters and divided on 167 berths spaces. With exclusive services such as access to our luxurious private beach and swimming pools, free wirelesses internet and much more.

'We are currently developing the entire area around the Marina where we will eventually have several dining outlets, shops, and a new ballroom. We’re in the final stages of finalising plans to open an Emirates Palace yacht club at the marina, as well as a large fitness centre,' he said.

Discussing the excitement of opening the new marina, he said: 'Since we’ve just opened the marina and development is ongoing, we are offering fantastic opportunities for the marine leisure community by special promotions. If you sign with us in marina now, you can take advantage of incredible pricing, and in two to three years, when we finish the developments, it will be difficult to find such great rates.'

Key to the strategy is events hosted by the Hotel and Marina, including a yacht show.

'We’re looking to finalise an annual Emirates Palace Yacht Show, held at our marina,' he said.
