Australian companies stand tall at international trade shows

MIAA
Australian companies are sure to impress at this year’s International Boatbuilders’ Exhibition and Conference (IBEX) - a well known platform to launch new products and technologies.

The Australian Marine Export Group (AIMEX) the peak body for the Australian Marine Export Industry is taking an impressive delegation of industry heavyweights to IBEX including Austral Propellers, Aqualuma Marine Lighting, VEEM Propellers, PolyFlex Group, FinScan, Stress Free Marine, Coursemaster Autopilots, Hydrive Engineering, Palm Unbreakable Drinkware and Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show.

Palm Unbreakable will be featuring its glow-in-the-dark drinkware – which has proven to be a big hit with the marine cruising.
AIMEX CEO MaryAnne Edwards says 'The continued support of Australian companies for IBEX reinforces the opportunities within the US market despite the recent economic crisis. There is still a real need to maintain a profile in this key market. With the dollar having dropped in recent weeks this will be a positive for the Australian companies showcasing their products at this show. IBEX attracts significant numbers of US boat builders and has traditionally been a very fruitful show for Australian companies.'

It is understood that the size of the show has increased this year another good sign for the industry. IBEX will be held in Louisville, Kentucky 17-19 October followed by the Fort Lauderdale 27-31 Oct.

The Australia Superyacht and marine export Industry will also be well represented at this show.
