At the 18ft Skiff International Regatta being contested on San Francisco Bay, races 5 and 6 were decided on day 3.

Race 5 was won by Grant Rollerson, Justin Healy and Marco Schurmann and in Race 6 it was bullet number two for CST Composites, Howie Hamlin, Matt Nobel and Paul Allen, which tightens up the overall points table going into Thursday's races.

The second race Thursday is the feature race of this regatta, the Ronstan Bridge to Bridge.

The B to B was won last year by Cocko's Thurlow Fisher Lawyers with Alex Vallings CT Battens snatching a commendable second over the line against Sailboards, Kites and anything else that people think will be in contention.

An 18 Footer has taken the title over the last three years; Seve Jarvin, John Winning and Michael Coxon (in that order) have mastered the course and managed to stay afloat, which is necessary to take the title.

The Thursday afternoon forecast is 'fresh to frightening'.
