Simpson Marine, Asia's largest yacht brokerage company, is pleased to announce its expansion into Indonesia with a head office in Jakarta and a branch office in Bali.

The Indonesian offices will join the existing nine sales offices across Asia and will be managed by Xavier Fabre. Xavier, who formerly served as the Managing Director for First Yacht in Dubai, added, ' I’m very excited to be joining the Simpson Marine team. I’ve always been impressed by their professionalism and am honoured to be a part the most established yacht brokerage company in Asia. The in-depth knowledge and expertise within the organization along with the exceptional brands Simpson Marine represent will allow me to support all our existing and new clients in this wonderful country'.

Xavier has managed and developed many activities within the yachting business internationally including the development of yacht dealerships, new yacht sales, brokerage and fleet management for many famous yacht brands across the Middle East, USA, Mauritius and Indonesia. Xavier has been living in Indonesia for the past two years and has a passion for sailing, is fluent in French and English and has skippered charter yachts in the Mediterranean and the Indian Ocean.

Paul Whelan, General Manager of Simpson Marine (SEA), said that the opening of Simpson Marine’s new office in Indonesia would capitalise on that market’s continued growth in luxury spending. 'I’m pleased to welcome Xavier to the company, with his experience I know that Simpson Marine will bring a whole new level of yacht service and commitment to the Indonesian boating community and allow us to cater to all their boat purchase needs, after-sales and technical support'.
