127th Lake Yacht Racing Association Regatta at Port Credit Yacht Club. This annual event brings together sailors from the Great Lakes - both American and Canadian to compete in 7 days of racing which includes short and long courses, point to point, one design, PHRF, and IRC.

Robert Elliott, President of LYRA, gave full marks to the Port Credit Yacht Club for the excellent race management, great food, fine entertainment, and wonderful weather for the event. His plan for next year is to bring more young people out to race at LYRA 2012 at the Oswego Yacht Club - home of the wildest seas on the lake.

This regatta was also the Canadian IRC Championships. The IRC North Americans will be held in August at the Royal Canadian Yacht Club.
