Hong Kong builder Kingship has once again cooperated with designer Horacio Bozzo of Axis Group Yacht Design to introduce an entirely new yacht layout design - M/Y Essence will be the first yacht of her size to have a completely private owner's deck and a 180° forward-facing panoramic view.
The full-beam owner’s suite on the upper deck of the 42.5m motor yacht boosts luxury level to the maximum. Owners will be able to enjoy an entirely private independent terrace with shaded seating and a totally exclusive sunbathing area, dine on the aft al-fresco veranda or enjoy magnificent views from a huge sliding roof while lying in bed.
The essence of this motor yacht is not merely limited to luxury - the efficient use of onboard space also plays an important role. Innovative design solutions have been adopted to maximize space, such as external ventilation trunks and a split main deck layout. With the bridge located on the main deck, the Captain will have efficient operation over docking and tender launching. The bridge is also connected to the galley and crew quarters directly, which allows the crew to deliver quality services to owners and guests. On the foredeck, the tender and its launching systems are installed underneath the huge sun loungers. Owners and guests will have easy access to watersports and an enjoyable outdoor marine experience.
Essence has a full displacement hull powered by twin Caterpillar C32 engines with a cruising speed of 15 knots and trans-Pacific range. She will accommodate 2 owners, 8 guests and 8 crew. The 42.5m motor yacht will be built in compliance with the RINA Green Plus notation and MCA.
