SLAM Advanced Technology Sportswear has commenced an exciting new chapter in Australia.
Apparel Distributors Pty Ltd, located in Brookvale, NSW, has secured the distribution contract for SLAM apparel within Australia.
Apparel Distributors Pty Ltd was recently conceived to manage the distribution of the label. Well-known Sydney based yachtsman Marcus Ashley-Jones will manage the company along with Peter Shipway, who has 30 plus years’ experience in the marine industry.
'SLAM gear is in high demand, and globally the brand has seen a huge growth in sales through the technical range and leisure wear collection. Through Apparel Distributors SLAM will continue to supply a reputable and proven product to all its customers' said Ashley-Jones.
The SLAM label originated in Genoa, Italy and recent celebrated its 30th anniversary.
SLAM remains strong on the global market, retaining its association with The America’s Cup, sponsorship of Grouparma Volvo Ocean Race Team, and partnerships with Yachting Australia and the Australian Sailing Team.
