Sail-World.com : New website for Australia-bound superyachts

New website for Australia-bound superyachts

'Superyacht with Sydney Harbour Bridge - more information on cruising Australia'    .

A new website has been developed specially for superyachts wanting to visit Australia, but there's much information there that could be useful for the 'normal' long-range cruising yacht as well - weather and tides, suggested itineraries, quarantine (particularly challenging in Australia) and other formalities.

The site has been developed by Australia's peak national body Superyacht Australia 'due to the high level of enquiry and demand for greater access to information'.

Superyacht Australia say that they have invested in the new website development to ensure that Superyacht Owners & Captains wanting to cruise in Australian waters have access to the latest rules and regulations, information about Australian Tourism attractions as well as understanding Australia’s superior Refit and Repair facilities that are available throughout the country.

The website includes excellent information about Australia’s iconic events and an extensive Business Directory featuring businesses that can provide the ultimate in service to cruising Superyachts.

The website also includes links to Government information and ‘How to Enter’ Australia. It also features Australia’s latest industry news. The website is a portal to the Australian Superyacht industry offering a one stop shop for those interested in coming down under.

Superyacht Australia is working with Government to reduce the red tape and regulation encountered by Owners/Captains when looking to cruise Australia Waters.

Superyacht Australia is lobbying strongly to remove barriers for those wishing to visit or charter in Australian waters
