Waller-Harris 2-handed Triangle Race at Royal Channel Islands YC

'Waller-Harris Jersey 2-handed Triangle Race'

16th Waller-Harris 2-handed Triangle Race is being held at Royal Channel Islands Yacht Club from Saturday 2nd July to Monday 4th July. Fourteen boats have entered the race.

Starting at nine o'clock on Saturday, the first leg will take the fleet on a forty plus mile race to the the Breton port of Binic on the Cote d'Armor, as ever a very popular destination for the Triangle's faithfuls. Sunday will see the fleet assembling off Binic harbour at nine thirty for the coastal passage to the Basse Crublent buoy at the entrance to the fairway leading to the very picturesque and ancient town of Trèguier. This leg has the added attraction of a very attractive river passage as boats head up to the marina and the vagaries of mooring in the strong tidal flow. The final and longest leg, back to Jersey, starts at the Basse Crublent at ten o'clock on Monday. The weather forecast indicates light to moderate breezes that, coupled with plenty of sunshine, promises to provide sailors with another memorable long weekend.

The Notice of Race and Sailing Instructions are available here.
