'Spanish for Cruisers' - an online course to ready you for cruising

'Spanish lessons - especially for Cruisers'    .
From Spain in the Mediterranean through much of the Caribbean and out as far as the Galapagos, Spanish is the language that will most benefit the cruising sailor.

If you are in, or have in mind passing through any of these areas any time soon, you could benefit from the 'Spanish for Cruisers' course coming up at Seven Seas U.

The best thing is that you can be anywhere in the world to take the e-Lessons or 'webinars'.

The class is being given by Kathy Parsons, online each Tuesday and Thursday for 3 weeks starting June 21 (6 classes total).

Each class will be 1.5 hours long and will be totally focused on 'Cruiser Spanish' - the basic skills and the unique vocabulary that cruisers need to make the most of Spanish-speaking countries. The class will use Kathy's book 'Spanish for Cruisers'. Ideally you should have this book for the class, but you can attend without it.

There will be material, audio and exercises to practice between classes. If you miss a class, want to repeat it, or the time was impossible for you in the first place, you can listen to the recording of the class. The class will be very interactive - and EVERYTHING is geared toward what cruisers need to know.

The course fee is $90 for Seven Seas Cruising Association members(SSCA), $105 for non-members. Just register, pay, and then be online at the appointed time, GMT 0000 - you'll need to work out your local time.

The class should be lots of fun. You do not need to know any Spanish to attend, but even if you do, you are bound to learn lots! If you have any questions about the class, please email Kathy at kathy@forcruisers.com.

Registration is through Seven Seas U (affiliated with the SSCA), and you can register by

(If the link doesn't work, just go to www.sevenseasu.com - the Spanish for Cruisers class is listed in the left column.)
