Brewin Dolphin Jersey Regatta 2011 is held over the weekend of second to 4th September and takes place within and off the stunning natural arena of St Aubin’s Bay.

Now in its thirteenth year, this spectacular event provides an exciting long weekend’s racing for local and visiting sailors alike, whether aboard cruisers, quarter tonners, dayboats, dinghies or sport-catamarans. After a very successful visit last year, the International Melges 24 UK National Championships will again be playing a colourful and highly competitive part in the Regatta.

Brewin Dolphin, one of the leading Independent Private Client Investment Management companies in the UK, is sponsoring the event for the fourth year in succession. Head of Office, Mr Stuart Sangan says, 'This is a fabulous event and always thoroughly enjoyed by all. Our name has become synonymous with the event and we are delighted to be able to support it for yet another year.'

Entry fees are £50 per boat for cruisers and sportsboats and £30 for the dayboat, dinghy and sport catamaran classes. Jersey Marinas is again providing complimentary berthing throughout the week leading to the Regatta. Save for the party night, the fee is all-inclusive of buffet receptions on every other evening and polo shirts etc.

The Island will be very busy over the Regatta weekend and crews requiring guest house or hotel accommodation are urged to book early. The Jersey Tourism website?nid=84329 is a good starting point.

The closing date for entries is 30th August with a discounted fee for boats entering by 24th August.

The Notices of Race for both the Jersey Regatta and the UK Melges 24 Championships are available on the event website,

For further information, please contact the Regatta Office on 00 44 (0) 1534 732229 or e-mail info@jerseyregatta.com.
