Volvo Ocean Race Auckland Stopover has announced the NZ Marine Export Showcase. The main focus will be to provide a platform of the best NZ Marine Export products to the global market.

Thomas Mayo, Director of Mayo & Ltd, the delivery company contracted to deliver the Volvo Ocean Race Auckland Stopover - says ‘this is a unique opportunity to mimic what is achieved overseas by the NZ Marine Export exhibitors on home soil with a unique Kiwi Feel’.

The Showcase will be situated in the Viaduct Events Centre, the center of the public experience of the Volvo Ocean Race Village. The Volvo Ocean Race 70s will be moored stern-to adjacent to the entrance of the showcase maximizing the profile for all Exhibitors.

The Event is expected to attract up to 500,000 visitors to the venue, but the focus for the exhibitors will be the ability to target the high networth guests the Volvo Group, Sponsors and Teams attract. To assist with profiling the exhibitor’s products all Showcase Exhibitors will be provided with a number of VIP access passes for the Volvo Club Lounge to assist with networking and hospitality.

The main focus of the stopover hospitality will be centred around the Showcase with the Volvo Group’s main Hospitality Pavilion and Volvo Ocean Race Club Lounge situated adjacent to the exhibitors.

Not only will the Viaduct Events Centre host the Showcase but also the International Media Centre. Over 400 International and Domestic Media are expected to attend the stopover. Showcase account Managers will work with the Exhibitors to assist with maximizing their brand exposure and marketing opportunities.
